Terms of Service

General Terms

  • First and foremost, I reserve the right to decline any commission for any reason.
  • I do not do deadlines or rush orders; my schedule simply doesn't allow for it.
  • Please provide visual references, especially when you're commissioning original characters. You may use a rough sketches, Picrew, etc. If the character in question has a Toyhou.se, I would love to be linked to it.

    • Payment

  • All payments are in USD and done via PayPal invoice. The full amount is expected to be paid within 48 hours.
  • The invoice is sent after the sketch is approved and, as previously stated, the full amount is expected to be paid.
  • If needed, I may also receive payment in halves. The first half of the amount will be taken after the sketch is approved and the rest will be taken before the full piece is shown / given to the client. If this is something more convenient for you, please be sure to discuss it with me.

    • Process

  • By default, a sketch will be sent to the client prior to lining.
  • Aside from the starting sketch, I do not share any more Works-in-Progress, unless I want to double-check or ask about something. If you would like to receive WIPs at certain points, please be sure to let me know.
  • For general commissions, the turnaround time is approximately 1-2 days to a week. For special commissions, the turnaround time is approximately a 1-2 weeks, at the latest. Regardless of either case, if I need more time, I will let you know.
  • Once the commission is finished, it will be sent to the client via email to retain quality. Both watermarked and un-watermarked versions will be shared.

    • Changes/Adjustments

  • During the sketch phase, prior to payment, you may ask for an unlimited amount of minor changes and a maximum of 5 major changes. Minor changes include smaller details, including those I can add while lining, while major changes include poses, backgrounds, etc.
  • Once the commission is finished, I will not make any major changes, as my process makes this difficult to do. However, if it's something minor, please let me know and I'll see what I can do.

    • Copyright/Usage

  • I, as the artist, will always hold the rights to the commissioned artwork. This means that I am allowed to post the work on any platform, promote myself with it, etc. If you, however, are not comfortable with this or wish for me to wait to post it, please let me know.
  • The commission may be used for personal use only, and only the client may use it. This includes icons, headers, phone backgrounds, etc. Please credit me when using.
  • You may not use the commission for commercial use, meaning you cannot make money off of it. I don't take commercial commissions at this time.
  • The client alone may repost the work, however it must be with the watermark and with proper credit linking back to me.

    • Cancelling/Refunding

  • At this time, once payment is taken (even in halves), I do not offer refunds or allow cancellations, unless you order through Ko-fi.
  • That being as it is, please be absolute sure you can/want to commission me before ordering.
